Overview

Associate-level position requiring 5-7 years of labor and employment defense experience.
Focus on employer-side labor and employment defense within a national practice.
Must have experience representing employers in federal and state court litigation.
Substantive experience handling wage and hour class action, PAGA litigation, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims is required.
Core responsibilities include fact investigation, exposure analysis, discovery management, drafting pleadings and motions, legal research, and advising clients on employment law compliance.
Experience with alternative dispute resolution, client counseling, and workplace investigations is preferred.
Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school and active membership in the California State Bar are required.
Option for remote or hybrid work based in the Los Angeles, Orange County, or San Diego areas.
Annual base salary ranges from $250,000 to $300,000, with the exact amount dependent on various factors.
