Associate position within an active land use practice.
Focus on major development projects throughout South Florida.
1-3 years of post-qualification experience in land use, zoning, local government, and environmental law.
Work includes legal research on land use issues and drafting memoranda, briefs, and legal documents (e.g., covenants).
Responsibilities also involve handling select public hearings and assisting with development approval applications.
Requires a strong background in legal research and writing.
Must have a deep understanding of Florida State and local government structure.
Possess excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, along with a self-motivated approach to problem-solving.
Florida Bar membership is required, or willingness to sit for the next examination.
