Alan is an exceptional recruiter. Throughout the process, he was hands-on, highly diligent and refreshingly down-to-earth. As I have said to Max in the course of our work together, he has the “Midas touch.” He does not simply reach out to candidates with job opportunities that are posted on law firm websites. He gets to know the candidate and he figures out what they are looking for (for e.g., work, geographic and practice preferences), who they are (personality, work style, background, etc.) and what their goals are, and finds opportunities that match their preferences. Often, these opportunities are not posted on law firm websites and, if they are, he has (or establishes) a direct line of communication with in-house recruiters and partners so that the candidate’s application does not get lost in the shuffle. He works closely with you through the entire hiring process giving very useful and relevant feedback along the way. His years of experience really shine through in this respect. After you are placed, he follows-up with you periodically to make sure all is well. He has a lot of integrity, stands by his word and never gives up until he finds you the right opportunity.
