Patent Attorney/Patent Agent

This role is with a firm comprising over 600 lawyers and policy professionals. The team serves an international roster of corporations, governments, private individuals, and trade associations, focusing on core industries where business and law intersect.

This is a patent prosecution attorney or agent position, available in Boston, New York, San Francisco, or Washington, DC. It is a client-facing role that offers meaningful responsibility and autonomy, with appropriate training and oversight provided.

• Work directly with inventors and scientists.
• Draft U.S. patent applications.
• Prosecute U.S. patent applications.
• Draft international patent applications.
• Prosecute international patent applications.

• At least four years of experience as a patent prosecution attorney or agent.
• Experience with healthcare technologies.
• Experience with related ML/AI technologies.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong writing skills.
• Excellent oral communication skills.
• USPTO registration.
