Overview

The firm is ArentFox Schiff, a globally recognized law firm with over 600 lawyers.
Seeking a Senior Associate (8th-year class or above), Counsel, or Income Partner for the Private Clients, Trusts & Estates practice.
This position is open to candidates in any ArentFox Schiff office nationwide.
Key responsibilities include advising family offices and closely-held business owners, developing sophisticated lifetime and testamentary planning strategies, and managing multi-generational client matters.
You will conduct tax research, project tax implications, prepare client educational materials, and communicate directly with clients to advance their goals.
The role requires acting as second chair on large matters, independently managing other client engagements, and supervising junior attorneys.
Required experience includes a strong understanding of income, fiduciary, estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax regimes.
Must have demonstrated experience managing client projects from inception to conclusion, including timeline management, accountability, plan adaptation, and team leadership.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, along with exceptional attention to detail and a willingness to meet client deadlines, are essential.
The base salary range is $350,000 to $500,000 per year, depending on experience, education, bar admissions, and overall qualifications.
A comprehensive bonus program is offered, including productivity, business development, and merit-based incentives.
