This is for a mid-level associate position in the Financial Services group, targeting candidates who earned their JD between 2020 and 2023.
The role is available in either the New York or Washington, DC offices.
You will provide regulatory, litigation, legislative, and transactional services to financial institution and fintech clients.
Work includes complex regulatory and transactional issues, investigations, administrative enforcement actions, and legislative matters within the financial services industry.
Required experience and interest include bank regulatory, anti-money laundering, consumer protection, fintech, chartering, or cryptocurrency matters.
You must possess strong research, writing, and analytic skills, and demonstrate the ability to work independently, creatively, and as part of a team.
Excellent academic credentials and references are required.
Preferred experience includes representing clients before, or previously working at, the Federal Reserve, FDIC, OCC, FinCEN, or state banking agencies.
Applicants must currently be licensed, or be eligible to become licensed, to practice law in Washington, DC.
The salary range for this position is $235,000 - $365,000, commensurate with experience.
Eligibility for an hours-based bonus is available.
