Seeking a junior- to mid-level Real Estate Associate with 3-6 years of experience.
This position is based in the firm's Cleveland, Ohio office.
Work on complex commercial real estate transactions for regional, national, and multinational clients.
Handle core transactional work including purchases, sales, development, leasing, and financing matters.
Draft and negotiate sophisticated agreements such as purchase/sale agreements, commercial leases, development agreements, easements, declarations, legal opinions, and closing documents.
Conduct comprehensive real estate diligence, covering title, survey, zoning, existing leases, environmental matters, and transaction authorization.
Provide real estate diligence and drafting support for mergers and acquisitions.
Requires strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills, along with effective written and oral communication, including direct client and third-party interaction.
Ability to manage a complex workload, prioritize tasks, and assume significant responsibility.
Must be admitted to practice law in Ohio.
Beneficial experience includes real estate finance, franchise real estate, joint ventures, hospitality, home builder, community development, zoning, land use, and AmLaw 100 firm background.
Annual salary range of $220,000 to $250,000, complemented by a performance- and hours-based bonus program.
