A minimum of five years of corporate paralegal experience is required, with a specific focus on emerging companies and venture capital (ECVC) clients.
Candidates must have a strong understanding of corporate law, venture capital transactions (including securities issuances and maintenance on platforms like Carta and Pulley), and M&A transactions.
Required technical skills include proficiency with cap table management platforms (e.g., Carta), intermediate Microsoft Office skills, document management systems, and time-keeping software.
This role demands an ability to work independently with minimal supervision, exercising initiative and judgment in decision-making, and knowing when to escalate issues.
