This is a Paralegal position within the firm's Real Estate Department.
The role is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week in the Minneapolis office.
Responsibilities include supporting large-scale real estate transactions from diligence through post-closing, preparing checklists, and managing associated documents.
Key tasks involve coordinating transactions, preparing closing indices and binders, handling post-closing matters, and preparing signature page packets.
You will review survey and title commitments, address counterparty comments, finalize title policies, and coordinate document recordation.
Additional duties include conducting legal research using databases and engaging with vendors/agencies for necessary certificates and searches.
A Bachelor's degree is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in a law firm setting.
Essential experience includes managing large document submissions/transactions and specific experience with title and survey matters. Commercial real estate or finance experience is strongly preferred.
Required skills include strong organizational, analytical, critical thinking, drafting, and proofreading abilities, plus intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, document management, and time-keeping software.
The targeted salary range for this position is $75,000–$92,000, with actual pay depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
