Overview

Associate position within the Government Affairs and Public Policy practice group, based in Washington, D.C.
Requires 4 to 6 years of relevant post-JD experience.
The role involves providing strategic counsel and compliance advice on political and election law.
Core practice areas include lobbying and public policy, campaign finance, government ethics, and non-profit law.
Ideal candidates will have knowledge of the Federal Election Campaign Act (FECA), Lobbying Disclosure Act (LDA), Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), Ethics in Government Act, and state/federal pay-to-play laws.
Clients include corporations, trade associations, non-profit organizations, advocacy groups, political committees, candidates, and officeholders.
Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as organizational abilities, are essential.
An active D.C. bar license is required, or immediate eligibility to waive in.
The salary range for this position is $250,000 – $320,000, dependent on experience, qualifications, and location.
Lawyers are eligible for incentive and/or profit-sharing bonus programs.
