The practice handles sophisticated policyholder-side insurance coverage matters, coverage disputes, complex recovery matters, and strategic counseling across a broad range of industries.
Responsibilities include representing corporate policyholders in complex insurance coverage litigation, arbitrations, and other dispute resolution proceedings.
Work involves a variety of first- and third-party coverages, including D&O, Cyber, RWI, CGL, Environmental, E&O, and Property/Business Interruption.
The role entails advising clients on insurance recovery strategy, analyzing complex commercial insurance policies, drafting legal documents (coverage analyses, pleadings, motions, briefs, and memoranda), and assisting clients in securing defense and indemnity coverage.
Associates work closely with clients, insurers, brokers, adjusters, and underlying defense counsel to advance insurance recovery objectives.
The position supports all phases of litigation, including factual development, discovery, motion practice, and hearing or trial preparation.
Candidates must have demonstrated experience representing policyholders and counseling clients on insurance recovery.
Federal judicial clerkship experience is a plus.
