The role focuses on representing corporate policyholders in sophisticated policyholder-side insurance coverage matters, coverage disputes, complex recovery matters, and strategic counseling across a broad range of industries.
Responsibilities include managing complex insurance coverage litigation, arbitrations, and other dispute resolution proceedings concerning D&O, Cyber, RWI, CGL, Environmental, E&O, Property/Business Interruption, and other first- and third-party coverages.
Daily tasks encompass advising clients on insurance recovery strategy, analyzing complex commercial insurance policies, drafting coverage analyses, pleadings, motions, briefs, and substantive legal memoranda, and assisting clients in securing defense and indemnity coverage.
Associates support all phases of litigation, including factual development, discovery, motion practice, and hearing or trial preparation, and work closely with clients, insurers, brokers, adjusters, and underlying defense counsel to advance insurance recovery objectives.
The position offers substantial responsibility and meaningful client contact.
Federal judicial clerkship experience is a plus.
