The role involves working on sophisticated policyholder-side insurance coverage matters, coverage disputes, complex recovery matters, and strategic counseling across a broad range of industries.
Responsibilities include representing corporate policyholders in complex insurance coverage litigation, arbitrations, and other dispute resolution proceedings involving D&O, Cyber, RWI, CGL, Environmental, E&O, Property/Business Interruption, and other first- and third-party coverages.
The associate will advise clients on insurance recovery strategy, analyze and interpret complex commercial insurance policies, and draft coverage analyses, pleadings, motions, briefs, and substantive legal memoranda.
Work includes assisting clients in securing defense and indemnity coverage for third-party liability claims and other significant losses, and supporting all phases of litigation, including factual development, discovery, motion practice, and hearing or trial preparation.
This position offers substantial responsibility, meaningful client contact, and requires working closely with clients, insurers, brokers, adjusters, and underlying defense counsel to advance insurance recovery objectives.
