Overview

Drive AI strategy and enablement for transactional lawyers within the firm's Corporate & Finance Transactions (CFT) Department, with a focus on corporate and commercial work.
Identify high-value AI use cases across Corporate practice groups, support the piloting of AI platforms, and scale approved AI solutions firm-wide.
Serve as a dedicated resource for lawyers, providing hands-on assistance with AI prompt design, refinement, and integrating AI-enabled workflows.
Develop and deliver technology presentations and trainings on practical AI uses, and contribute to embedding AI within associate training programs.
Collaborate with practice group leaders, partners, and other innovation teams to ensure consistent AI integration and promote the appropriate use of all firm technologies.
The role is primarily non-fee-earning, but requires time recording and includes occasional fee-earning work without set targets.
Mainly US-focused, with an expectation to support global offices in AI transformation efforts.
Requires 5+ years of experience as a corporate lawyer in a large US national or international law firm.
Candidates should have either experience in a legal technology role (preferred) or a proven track record of using technology to support legal practice with a keen interest in AI.
Must possess a detailed understanding of corporate workflows, a process-driven mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to influence colleagues to adopt new practices.
Experience with product development, UI/UX concepts, user testing, or process mapping is highly desirable.
Intermittent domestic and international travel may be required.
Estimated Illinois pay range is $136,000 - $210,000, plus an annual discretionary bonus.
