Overview

This is a Real Estate Paralegal role supporting commercial real estate, acquisitions, finance, leasing, and development transactions.
Positions are available in Chicago, Denver, Irvine, Miami, New York, and St. Louis.
Key responsibilities include coordinating documentation and closing for sales, purchases, leases, and mortgage financing.
You will review title commitments, title documents, and surveys; conduct due diligence; and ensure timely pre-closing preparation and post-closing follow-up.
The role involves drafting, creating, and editing various transaction, closing, and loan documents, as well as general correspondence.
You will perform legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, and the internet, record documents, and communicate with clients as directed by attorneys.
Requires 6-10 years of experience with real estate transactional work, specifically including title and survey projects.
A Bachelor's degree and/or a paralegal certificate is preferred.
Candidates must have strong Microsoft Office skills, proven analytical and organizational abilities, keen attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks and maintain organized files for voluminous transactions.
The role demands independent problem-solving and the ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining timely organization.
Professional and clear verbal and written communication with both internal and external clients is essential.
Expectations include flexibility for early, late, or weekend work, potentially with short notice, especially in critical needs periods; some travel may also be required.
The estimated compensation range for this position in California, Colorado, Illinois, and New York is $120,000 to $150,000, with potential for an additional annual discretionary bonus.
