Overview

  • Serve as a Senior Leasing Attorney within Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP)'s nationally recognized Real Estate Practice.
  • Requires 10+ years of focused commercial real estate leasing experience, preferably from a law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Represent national and international landlords and tenants across various property types, including retail, office, industrial, mixed-use, and ground-lease transactions.
  • Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial leases, amendments, subleases, assignments, estoppels, and SNDAs.
  • Advise clients on leasing strategy, risk mitigation, portfolio management, and real estate operations.
  • Manage complex leasing portfolios and high-value transactions efficiently from engagement through execution, maintaining proactive client communication.
  • Candidates must possess a J.D. from an accredited law school and be admitted to the bar in a U.S. state (or able to become admitted promptly), with strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with national or multi-state leasing portfolios is strongly preferred.
  • This role offers location flexibility across any U.S. BCLP office and can be structured as either a staff attorney or partner-track, based on the candidate’s background.
  • The estimated annual salary range for this position is $185,000 to $275,000, influenced by relevant experience, skills, and other job-related factors.
  • Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, retirement plans, paid parental leave, paid time off, and paid holidays. Hybrid work flexibility is also supported.
