Overview

This is an Asset Finance Associate position in Clifford Chance's New York office within the Global Financial Markets Group.
Requires 3-7 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) at a peer Am Law or international law firm.
Admission to the New York Bar is mandatory, along with a J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school or a U.S. LL.M.
Extensive experience advising lenders, lessors, investors, underwriters, or sponsors on cross-border asset finance transactions is essential.
Substantial experience in aviation and other transportation finance, including aircraft and high-value equipment financings, is required.
Proficiency across a broad range of transaction types, including operating/finance leases, secured lending, leveraged leasing, portfolio acquisitions/dispositions, restructurings, and structured finance transactions (e.g., EETCs, ABS).
Familiarity with export credit agency (ECA)-supported financings and other complex financing structures is expected.
Strong drafting, negotiation, and project management skills are necessary, coupled with the ability to work effectively in cross-border teams.
The salary range for this role is $365,000 to $435,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
