Real Estate Associate position in the New York office, targeting 3rd-5th year attorneys.
Handle complex commercial real estate transactions for a sophisticated national and international client base.
Advise on acquisitions and dispositions of commercial real estate assets, including those involving private equity, M&A, or distressed/bankruptcy components.
Manage real estate finance transactions, representing borrowers, lenders, and agents on various loan types (e.g., construction, bridge, mezzanine, permanent mortgage).
Work on sophisticated leasing matters, including ground leases and sale-leasebacks, and structure joint ventures and related investment vehicles.
Engage in development matters, loan syndications, participations, workouts, restructurings, and bankruptcy-related real estate transactions.
Requires 3-5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in complex commercial real estate, with a particular emphasis on financing transactions.
Must have a J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school, strong academic credentials, and active admission to the New York Bar.
Possess excellent drafting, negotiation, communication, and analytical skills, along with strong judgment and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple matters with a high degree of responsibility and independence.
The salary range for this role is $260,000 - $365,000, with the final offer dependent on skillset and experience.
