Overview

  • This is a non-client-facing Resource Attorney role supporting the M&A practice group, without billing hour requirements.
  • Manage and maintain the M&A transaction database, including inputting deal terms and coordinating audits with the knowledge management team.
  • Draft and revise template M&A documents, and curate practice group forms, precedents, and know-how.
  • Monitor M&A legal and regulatory developments, create summaries/alerts, and update practice resources accordingly.
  • Coordinate M&A content for associate and firmwide legal training initiatives.
  • Support M&A marketing and business development efforts, including content for blogs, pitches, and teach-ins.
  • Assist attorneys with day-to-day requests for precedents, templates, and other resources.
  • Contribute to new resource, knowledge management, and practice innovation projects.
  • Must be a licensed attorney with a minimum of 4 years of experience in US M&A corporate/transactional practice.
  • Essential skills include a basic understanding of public and private M&A, corporate governance, board fiduciary duties, and market trends, along with strong drafting, organizational skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and teamwork.
  • The expected annual pay range is $220,000 - $335,000, with the final offer dependent on geographic location, experience, and skillset.
