Overview

This is an M&A Resource Attorney position supporting the M&A practice group; it is a non-client-facing and non-billable role.
Enable practicing attorneys by providing informed and efficient support, working collaboratively with a senior Resource Attorney.
Manage the M&A transaction database, including inputting deal terms, coordinating audits, and maintaining data integrity.
Draft and revise M&A template documents, forms, precedents, and curate the group's know-how resources.
Monitor M&A legal and regulatory developments, prepare summaries and alerts, and ensure new requirements are reflected in practice resources.
Coordinate with the legal education team to develop M&A content for associate trainings and other firmwide educational efforts.
Collaborate with the M&A marketing team on promotion strategies, blog content, and creation of materials for pitches and teach-ins.
Respond to daily requests from attorneys for precedents, templates, and other practice resources.
Participate in developing new resource, knowledge management, and practice innovation projects.
Requires a licensed attorney with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a US M&A corporate or transactional practice.
Candidates must have a basic understanding of public and private M&A, corporate governance, board fiduciary duties, and market trends.
Essential skills include strong drafting, organizational abilities, attention to detail, flexibility, and teamwork.
The annual pay range for this position is $220,000 - $335,000, with final offers dependent on geographic location, experience, and skillset.
