The role is an AI Innovation Attorney – Litigation, joining a multidisciplinary Legal AI & Practice Transformation team focused on redesigning legal service delivery.
You will partner directly with the firm’s litigation practices to identify high-value opportunities for AI, redesign workflows, and improve how legal work is delivered.
Key responsibilities include advising litigators on where and how to effectively use AI in live matters, structuring prompts, integrating cross-functional expertise, and ensuring appropriate oversight and quality.
You will lead AI pilot programs from problem definition through design, testing, implementation, and adoption, serving as a practice-facing expert for the firm’s AI platforms.
This includes converting successful AI approaches into reusable playbooks, prompts, templates, and knowledge assets to scale capabilities across practices.
You will design and deliver practical guidance, training, and resources to lawyers, translating AI capabilities, limitations, and governance requirements into concrete use cases.
Required qualifications include a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school, active bar membership in good standing, and at least five years of substantive litigation experience.
Candidates must have active, hands-on experience using generative AI in legal work, with a deep understanding of its potential to improve litigation and sound judgment regarding its limitations.
A strong understanding of litigation workflows, lawyer decision-making, quality standards, and client service demands is essential.
You should possess strong project ownership, organizational skills, and the ability to translate among legal, technical, and business audiences, turning ambiguous needs into practical solutions.
