This AI Innovation Attorney role focuses on transactional and advisory legal practices, joining a multidisciplinary Legal AI & Practice Transformation team.
You will partner with the firm’s transactional and advisory practices to identify high-value opportunities for AI integration and to redesign existing workflows.
Advise lawyers on where AI can effectively improve legal work, helping them use tools in live matters by selecting appropriate tools and structuring effective prompts while maintaining oversight and quality.
Lead pilot initiatives from problem definition through design, testing, implementation, and continuous improvement, converting successful approaches into reusable workflow agents, playbooks, and knowledge assets.
Serve as a practice-facing expert for the firm’s AI platforms, actively building and testing prompts, workflow agents, and matter-specific solutions.
Design and deliver practical guidance, training, and resources to enable lawyers and drive the adoption of AI-enabled capabilities and improved workflows.
Requires a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing.
Requires at least five years of substantive transactional or advisory legal experience.
Must have active, hands-on experience using generative AI in legal work, with a practical understanding of its impact, benefits, and limitations in transactional and advisory contexts.
Possess a deep understanding of transactional and advisory workflows, lawyer decision-making processes, and client service demands.
Ability to translate between legal, technical, and business audiences, turning ambiguous needs into practical solutions.
Demonstrate strong project ownership, organization, and follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders.
Stay current on developments in AI, legal technology, and legal service delivery to support firm strategy and client value.
