Overview

This Commercial Litigation Paralegal position is based in the New York office.
The role offers a hybrid work schedule, requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. Flexibility for overtime and varied hours is necessary.
A minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience is required.
Candidates must possess an Associate's degree and/or a paralegal certificate.
Experience in commercial litigation and trial work is preferred.
Core responsibilities include assisting attorneys across all litigation stages, drafting correspondence, preparing and e-filing legal documents in state and federal courts, and managing case files and calendars.
Tasks involve comprehensive document management, such as review, proofreading, bates labeling, organization, and compiling information for discovery responses, pleadings, and motions.
You will conduct factual research, lead subpoena and third-party records retrieval efforts, and demonstrate familiarity with e-discovery processes, including the technical aspects of collecting, reviewing, and producing electronically stored information.
Support for trial preparation and attendance is required, including organizing evidence, preparing exhibits, and coordinating witnesses.
Proficiency in billing systems (e.g., InTapp) for accurate time entry is essential. Experience with Relativity, LiveNote, Case/Time Map, Summation, Adobe Acrobat, and Trial Director is a plus.
Candidates must be detail-oriented, able to work independently, possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, and manage confidential information with discretion.
The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $105,000, with final compensation determined by factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, and location.
