Seeking an attorney with 5-8 years of insurance coverage and litigation experience to join the Chicago office.
Focus on Commercial General Liability (CGL) coverage, including analyzing and litigating complex coverage disputes and bad faith claims.
Experience is also required with contractual indemnity provisions, 'other insurance' clauses, and a broad range of insurance coverage matters.
Preferred experience includes commercial auto, motor carrier liability, commercial excess/umbrella, environmental/pollution liability, real estate/homeowners' liability, package business liability, and management/professional errors and omissions coverage forms.
Substantial experience in all phases of insurance coverage litigation is essential. Defense litigation experience is also helpful.
Must possess excellent analytical, writing, and advocacy skills, alongside strong academic credentials.
Required to be admitted to the Illinois bar. Additional bar admissions are a plus.
Ability to manage an independent caseload efficiently and work collaboratively with a national team of insurance lawyers.
The salary range for this role is $190,000 - $220,000.
