This is an Associate or Counsel position with Crowell & Moring's Financial Services team in New York.
The role involves representing banks, hedge funds, and other financial institutions.
Key responsibilities include negotiating and drafting various trading agreements, such as International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA), Global Master Repurchase Agreements (GMRA), prime brokerage agreements, and securities lending agreements.
You will also structure, draft, and negotiate swap transactions, with a primary focus on credit and credit-linked swaps.
Provide regulatory expertise regarding the application of Dodd-Frank to derivatives.
Candidates must have 5 to 7 years of substantive experience in derivatives.
A background in lending, secured/structured transactions, creditors’ rights, or bankruptcy is beneficial.
Regulatory expertise in Dodd-Frank application to derivatives is also a plus.
The salary range for this position is $320,000 to $355,000.
Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus.
