Manages all phases of complex employment litigation in state and federal courts, including developing strategy, evaluating risk, and advising clients on litigation and settlement.
Drafts and argues substantive motions, takes and defends depositions (including named plaintiffs, corporate representatives, and experts), and oversees written discovery and case management.
Participates in mediations, settlement negotiations, arbitrations, and court appearances.
Collaborates with clients on employment counseling, compliance, and risk mitigation issues related to California employment law.
Offers substantial responsibility, direct client interaction, and opportunities to mentor junior associates and support business development initiatives.
Requires significant experience managing sophisticated California employment litigation, particularly class action and representative litigation, and strong knowledge of California employment law and class action procedure.
