This Patent Litigation Paralegal role is based in the New York office, operating on a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).
Support attorneys throughout all phases of patent and complex litigation matters, from initial discovery through trial.
Manage case materials, including electronic files, databases, and e-discovery systems, ensuring compliance with court and agency deadlines.
Handle court and agency filings (Federal, State, Local, USPTO), coordinate trial logistics, and assist with witness preparation and settlement support.
Conduct complex legal and factual research, assist with document collection, review, and production (including privilege logs), and manage special document collections.
Prepare for and provide on-site support at depositions, hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations, including exhibit management, witness coordination, and operating courtroom technology.
Requires 5+ years of paralegal experience, a Bachelor's Degree, and paralegal program completion (or equivalent knowledge).
Must have advanced proficiency in MS Office, legal research platforms (LexisNexis, Westlaw, PACER), and e-discovery tools (Relativity, IPRO). Familiarity with trial support software (Trial Director, OnCue) is desirable.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and flexibility for overtime and occasional travel are essential.
The annualized salary range for this New York City position is $122,000 to $147,000, with final pay adjusted based on experience and other factors.
