  • Kate Reder Sheikh

    Kate Reder Sheikh

    Legal Recruiter

    Major, Lindsey & Africa

Why talk to Kate Reder Sheikh?

Elise Lopez joined Freshfields's San Francisco office in the Litigation group.

Kate is an excellent recruiter, and I would definitely recommend her to any associate considering making a move or even just seeking some career advice. She listens carefully to what you want and do not want in your next opportunity. Once you receive an offer, she will advocate for the best possible terms and take seriously your "must haves." I was struck by how genuine, compassionate, and transparent she was. I always thought working with a recruiter would make me feel like I was being sold to. Kate clearly takes a long term view of her relationships with her clients and realizes that upfront candor is a much more successful strategy than quickly collecting a commission and moving on. I cannot speak highly enough of her.

    Why talk to Dale Durham?

Tyler Anders joined Polsinelli PC's Los Angeles office in the Data Privacy group.

Dale is an incredible recruiter and even better person. I cannot recommend him enough. My path to a new firm was a long one, and it never would happened without Dale's guidance, expertise, and unrivaled knowledge of the legal marketplace in Southern California. I'm immensely grateful for his help. If you're looking for a new role, working with Dale is the best decision you will make.

    Pacific Legal Search

    Why talk to Priya Gulati?

Nadia B. Saleem joined DLA Piper's Los Angeles office in the Restructuring group.

Priya was a dream to work with when I was looking to transition firms. She was incredibly responsive, keeping me updated on applications without my having to follow up; she was attentive in ensuring that any firms I submitted to would be a good fit for me; and she took time to help me prepare for all of my interviews to ensure that I was set up for success. In the end, she was able to help me find a position in a new geographic location in less time than I expected, despite a weak market for my practice area. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a new position.

  • Ed Hossain

    Ed Hossain

    Legal Recruiter

    Long Ridge Partners

    Why talk to Ed Hossain?

David Hien Lien joined Baker Botts LLP's Palo Alto office in the Intellectual Property group.

Ed is a fantastic recruiter and different from the rest. Instead of simply blasting openings in the industry looking for people of my class year and background, Ed listened to the specific particulars of what I was looking for in my next opportunity. As a result we collaborated on a select number of firms and Ed eventually helped me land my current role. I'm extremely happy here and it's as a result of Ed's efforts throughout the entire process. Ed is professional and cool under pressure at the same time; we were able to make this a fun and exciting journey. I'd highly recommend (and have recommended) Ed to anyone looking for the next stop in their legal journey!

    Why talk to Summer Eberhard?

Anjali Krishnan joined Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati's San Francisco office in the Tax group.

Summer helped me navigate the west coast legal market as a foreign attorney which was a challenge with my practice. She gave great insights on the market to steer me in the right direction and even worked with me in putting my materials together. Most importantly, she was extremely responsive and managed my expectations along the journey. I am thankful to her for helping me transition to the US market.

    Legal Recruiter

    Long Ridge Partners

    Why talk to Alan Hershkowitz?

Saurabh Prabhakar joined O'Melveny & Myers LLP's San Francisco office in the Intellectual Property group.

Alan is not just a recruiter to me but my trusted confidant and friend. Alan has worked with me on two lateral moves and each time he had my complete trust. Alan earned my trust by demonstrating that he was listening to me--something I value highly. When I was planning my first lateral move, other recruiters tried to sell me what they had and not what I wanted from my next firm. But Alan provided me with options that fit my requirements. Alan is also dependable. Besides the big things like interview prep and offer negotiation, Alan kept his commitment in even the most routine but important things, like keeping me informed, calling at the scheduled time, and providing me with detailed data to help me with my decisions. Alan candidly discussed the options I had and was never pushy. Advice he gave me about my options was consistent with the advice I got from several seasoned lawyers. Finally, at offer time, Alan zealously advocated for the requests that I had for my future employers. So when I thought about another lateral move, Alan was my first and only call. For all these reasons, I highly recommend Alan to attorneys looking for a lateral opportunity.

I'd strongly recommend him for anyone looking to understand their options as they move forward in their career. Most importantly, I felt that Khurram was my advocate throughout the process. He gives you the space to consider your options without any pressure, and he advocates for your best interests when talking to firms. Keep it up, Khurram!
