Overview

Requires 3-6 years of legal experience in structured finance, with significant experience in residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS).
Experience should encompass securitizations, financings, repurchase agreements, opinion drafting, and negotiating related transaction documents for RMBS.
Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transaction documents for RMBS and other structured finance transactions (e.g., securitizations, warehouse/term financings, repurchase facilities).
Additional duties involve preparing and reviewing legal opinions, managing transaction closing deliverables, assisting with deal structuring, and advising clients on legal and regulatory considerations.
This role offers substantial client exposure and direct responsibility within a dedicated team.
The position is primarily in-person in the New York office.
Candidates must be licensed to practice law in the State of New York, with a strong preference for New York-based attorneys.
The salary range for this position is $260,000 - $390,000, commensurate with experience.
Associate titles (Associate, Managing Associate, Senior Managing Associate) are determined by years of experience.
