Overview

Seeking an Employment Associate with 2-6 years of employment practice experience.
Position is available in Atlanta, GA; Charleston, SC; or Short Hills, NJ.
Responsibilities include managing and handling employment litigation matters such as single-plaintiff, class action, ERISA, wage-hour disputes, and administrative charges.
Litigation tasks involve taking/defending depositions, managing written discovery, drafting/arguing motions, and examining witnesses at trial; trial experience is a plus.
Provide day-to-day employment and human resources counseling to clients, advise on sensitive personnel issues, and support policy review and implementation.
Draft and review employment agreements, employee handbooks, policies, and severance agreements.
Advise on employment aspects of due diligence in mergers and acquisitions, and potentially support traditional labor and NLRB matters.
Must possess excellent academic credentials, a strong knowledge of employment law, superior writing, analytical, and communication skills, and a commitment to client service.
Work directly with partners and clients, playing a key role in formulating legal strategy for litigation and conducting internal investigations.
Salary range for this position is $225,000 to $345,000, based on experience and location.
Benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, 401k, short-term/long-term disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, paid holidays, and discretionary bonuses.
Associate titles (Associate, Managing Associate, Senior Managing Associate) are determined by years of experience.
Candidates must be licensed to practice law and be in good standing in the state where they will be practicing.
