Overview

Seeking an Associate, Managing Associate, or Senior Managing Associate for one of Dentons' California offices.
Requires 2-6 years of employment practice experience, strong academic credentials, and active California bar membership in good standing.
Provide day-to-day employment and human resources counseling for clients.
Draft and review employment agreements, employee handbooks, policies, and severance agreements.
Manage and handle employment litigation matters, including single-plaintiff, executive compensation, wage-hour class actions, PAGA actions, and administrative charges.
Conduct and defend depositions, and manage written discovery phases of litigation.
Advise clients on sensitive personnel issues, policy review, and implementation.
Support traditional labor and NLRB matters, and handle employment aspects of M&A due diligence.
Formulate legal strategy on litigation matters, working directly with clients and partners as a key team member.
Candidates must possess strong analytical, writing, and interpersonal communication skills, with an emphasis on client service and managing complex assignments.
The annual salary range for this position is $225,000 to $345,000, dependent on experience and office location.
