Overview

Mid-level Associate for Dentons' Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice, joining the insurance coverage litigation team.
Requires 3-5 years of complex litigation experience; prior complex insurance coverage litigation experience is ideal.
Core responsibilities include drafting pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
Conduct legal research and writing, and manage litigation matters from pretrial through trial, including discovery.
Analyze insurance coverage and extra-contractual disputes, including drafting coverage opinions or other analyses.
Must possess excellent academic credentials, strong analytical and writing skills, and proven case management abilities.
Direct experience handling clients and adversaries, and excellent oral advocacy skills are required.
Deposition and court experience preferred; Federal District Court or Appellate clerkship is a plus.
Active admission and good standing with the State of Illinois Bar is mandatory.
Chicago salary range: $260,000 - $325,000 (based on experience), plus discretionary bonuses and a standard benefits package.
