Overview
Entry-level Associate position within the firm's Construction team, starting Fall 2026.
Practice will focus on real estate and construction law, integrated with the global Real Estate group.
Key responsibilities include drafting and negotiating construction agreements (e.g., design, development, EPC, AIA forms).
Support the structuring, coordination, and execution of complex real estate development and construction transactions.
Assist in resolving construction-related disputes, including defect and delay claims, through arbitration and litigation.
Conduct due diligence and legal research for project development and risk management.
Engage directly with clients, serving as an advisor from project inception through completion.
Work on high-impact US and international projects with partners, counsel, and clients, with an emphasis on early ownership and professional development.
Required qualifications include excellent academic credentials and a strong interest in real estate and construction law.
Must sit for the Missouri Bar Examination in July 2026 and obtain admission to the Missouri Bar.
Key skills required are strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication abilities, along with a client-focused, collaborative approach, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
Previous experience in real estate/construction law or general law firm experience is preferred.
