Overview

  • Entry-level Associate position within the firm's Construction team, starting Fall 2026.
  • Practice will focus on real estate and construction law, integrated with the global Real Estate group.
  • Key responsibilities include drafting and negotiating construction agreements (e.g., design, development, EPC, AIA forms).
  • Support the structuring, coordination, and execution of complex real estate development and construction transactions.
  • Assist in resolving construction-related disputes, including defect and delay claims, through arbitration and litigation.
  • Conduct due diligence and legal research for project development and risk management.
  • Engage directly with clients, serving as an advisor from project inception through completion.
  • Work on high-impact US and international projects with partners, counsel, and clients, with an emphasis on early ownership and professional development.
  • Required qualifications include excellent academic credentials and a strong interest in real estate and construction law.
  • Must sit for the Missouri Bar Examination in July 2026 and obtain admission to the Missouri Bar.
  • Key skills required are strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication abilities, along with a client-focused, collaborative approach, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Previous experience in real estate/construction law or general law firm experience is preferred.
