Overview

Associate position in DLA Piper's Corporate Group based in the Seattle office.
Requires 2-4 years of corporate law experience; direct and applicable experience from an AmLaw 100 firm is preferred.
Specialized experience in M&A transactions and/or venture capital financings is essential.
Must possess a JD from an accredited law school, a strong academic background from a nationally recognized school, and be admitted to practice in Washington State.
Core responsibilities involve managing complex transactions from inception to closing, conducting legal research, and drafting various legal documents including memos and contracts.
You will cultivate internal and external client relationships, providing timely advice and updates, and ensure rigorous compliance with legal standards and regulations.
Essential skills include strong written and verbal communication, research, analytical, problem-solving, judgment, attention to detail, organizational, and collaborative abilities.
The expected annual salary range is $235,000 - $310,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k).
This is a hybrid role requiring a regular in-office presence with some flexibility for remote work.
