Overview

  • Seeking a mid-level Associate to join the Corporate Group in the Washington, DC or Reston office.
  • The role focuses primarily on representing emerging growth companies and their institutional investors.
  • Requires a minimum of three years of experience, specifically representing both institutional investors and issuers in venture capital financings.
  • Candidates must also have experience with M&A transactions and advising emerging growth companies on day-to-day corporate matters.
  • Responsibilities include conducting legal research and analysis for transactions, drafting legal documents (e.g., contracts, correspondence), and managing complex transactions through to closing.
  • Manage internal and external client relationships by providing advice and regular updates.
  • A JD degree from an accredited law school and admission to practice in the state where officing are required.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, research, problem-solving, and organizational skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • This is a hybrid position, requiring regular in-office presence with some flexibility for work-from-home.
  • The expected annual compensation range is $260,000 - $390,000, depending on geographic market and experience, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.
