Overview

  • Mid-level Corporate Associate position focused on emerging growth companies and their institutional investors.
  • Represent institutional investors and issuers in venture capital financings.
  • Handle M&A transactions and advise emerging growth companies on general corporate matters.
  • Responsibilities include drafting legal documents (e.g., contracts, correspondence) and conducting thorough legal research and analysis.
  • Manage complex transactions from inception through resolution and closing stages.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in emerging growth and venture capital is required.
  • Direct experience from an AmLaw 100 firm is preferred.
  • JD from an accredited law school and active bar admission in the state of employment are required.
  • Essential skills include strong written and verbal communication, research, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and professional judgment.
  • Openings are available in Los Angeles, Palo Alto, San Francisco, New York, Washington D.C., and Austin.
  • Salary range is $260,000 - $390,000 per year, depending on market location, experience, and qualifications, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
  • This role operates under a hybrid work model, requiring regular in-office presence with some flexibility for working remotely.
