Overview

Associate position in Employment Law.
Opportunity to work from the San Francisco, Palo Alto, Los Angeles, or San Diego office.
Handle litigation defense for class actions, single plaintiff cases, and PAGA claims. This includes matters concerning wage & hour, misclassification, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, breach of contract, and wrongful termination.
Provide advice and counsel on employment, termination, and severance agreements, reductions in force, restrictive covenants, employee mobility, compensation plans, and leave practices.
Requires a Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active admission to the California Bar.
Minimum 2 years of labor and employment law experience, encompassing both litigation defense and advice & counsel.
Must have specific experience defending class and collective actions, PAGA claims, and some trial experience.
Possess strong knowledge of state and federal employment laws, particularly the California Labor Code and wage & hour regulations.
Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication, research, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
This is a hybrid role, requiring a regular in-office presence with some flexibility for remote work.
The annual salary range is $235,000 - $365,000, complemented by comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, and a 401(k).
