Overview

Attorney position within DLA Piper's Investment Funds Group.
This is a professional track, non-partnership track role.
Requires 1-3 years of experience representing clients in fund formation matters, with prior AmLaw 100 firm experience preferred.
Core responsibilities include drafting and negotiating fund organizational documents and investor side letters, and coordinating investor closings.
Experience with secondaries transactions is a plus.
Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical, writing, organizational, and communication skills, coupled with attention to detail and sound business judgment. The ability to work collaboratively and independently is essential.
Expectations include managing deadlines under pressure, fulfilling occasional travel requirements, and potentially mentoring or supervising junior lawyers and staff.
This position can be based in the New York, Chicago, or Austin offices.
The firm operates on a hybrid work model, requiring a regular in-office presence with some flexibility for remote work.
