Overview

  • Serve as a lead attorney within the Real Estate Group, specializing in commercial leasing.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience is required, specifically in drafting and negotiating complex commercial leases.
  • Focus on various property types, including office, industrial, retail, and life science leases; solar leasing experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating primary commercial leases, as well as related agreements such as SNDAs, letters of intent, work letters, and transfer consents.
  • Directly interact with clients, opposing counsel, property managers, and brokers, while also supervising less experienced leasing attorneys.
  • Substantial experience representing landlords is a key requirement for this role.
  • Candidates must hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree and be actively admitted to the bar in the jurisdiction of application.
  • Key skills include strong negotiation, analytical, and writing abilities, coupled with an understanding of commercial leasing market standards and the capacity to manage multiple transactions and client objectives.
  • This is a hybrid role requiring some in-office presence.
  • Openings are available in Atlanta, Boston, California, Chicago, Miami, New York, Reston, Texas, and Washington, DC offices.
  • The expected annual salary range is $250,000 to $300,000, which may vary based on geographic market, experience, skills, and qualifications.
