Overview

  • Mid-level Associate position within the Health Care practice group.
  • Opportunity available in Chicago, Minneapolis, or Washington, DC offices.
  • Requires 2-4 years of post-JD experience, with law firm experience preferred.
  • Focus on healthcare transactional and regulatory matters.
  • Familiarity with federal and state healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, Medicare/Medicaid, and provider licensure requirements.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating healthcare contracts, such as provider, vendor, and business associate agreements.
  • Responsibilities include conducting legal research and analysis on complex healthcare issues.
  • Requires strong organizational skills, project management ability, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Interest in participating in business development, client presentations, and industry events is beneficial.
  • JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials is required.
  • Must be admitted to the Illinois, Minnesota, or Washington, DC bar, or eligible for prompt admission by waiver.
  • Hybrid work model requires three days per week in the office.
  • Initial annual salary range is $210,000 - $280,000, supplemented by bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
