Overview

  • Patent Agent position within the Intellectual Property group, available in Denver, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Washington DC, or Wilmington.
  • Core responsibilities include patent preparation and prosecution, and developing patent strategies for cutting-edge technologies.
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Preference for candidates experienced in drafting and prosecuting patents related to artificial intelligence, machine learning, or other emerging technologies.
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a licensed patent agent is required.
  • Must be currently admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
  • Experience in client counseling or working within the software and hardware related industry is beneficial.
  • The firm operates on a hybrid work policy, requiring three days per week in one of its offices.
  • The anticipated initial annual salary range is $110,000 - $180,000, with actual salary dependent on skills, experience, and location.
  • The total compensation package includes productivity and discretionary bonuses, comprehensive insurance (life, health, accident, disability), and a 401(k) plan.
