Overview

  • This is a Junior Patent Associate position focused on patent prosecution within the Intellectual Property practice.
  • The role is available in Denver, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., or Wilmington.
  • Candidates must have 1-3 years of patent prosecution experience, either as an agent or attorney.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering field is required; a graduate degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with mechanical technologies is essential, along with the ability to handle chemical or materials science patent applications.
  • Applicants must be registered with the USPTO and admitted to a state bar (or eligible for admission by wave-in).
  • Strong academic credentials and excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary.
  • This is a hybrid work model requiring attorneys to work from one of the firm's offices three days per week.
  • The initial annual salary range for this position is $175,000 – $255,000, with the final salary depending on skills, experience, and location.
  • The total compensation package includes productivity and discretionary bonuses, plus benefits such as health insurance and a 401(k) plan.
