Overview

The role requires solid patent litigation experience, specifically including researching and drafting pleadings, discovery, and motion papers.
Candidates must have experience in the mechanical arts combined with knowledge of computer technology, coding, and signal processing.
Exceptional writing skills are a mandatory requirement for this position.
A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related degree is required.
Finnegan’s litigation practice covers all aspects of IP-related disputes, ranging from complex patent litigation and appeals to high-profile trademark disputes.
Finnegan’s litigators have handled hundreds of cases at all stages of litigation before courts and government agencies across the United States and in Germany and the UK.
In the last five years, Finnegan has represented clients in over 200 appeals at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
