Foley & Lardner LLP is hiring a 3rd-4th year associate (Class of 2022-2023) for its Labor & Employment Practice Group in Detroit.
Essential experience includes wage and hour class action litigation, union negotiations, general labor and employment advice and counseling, OSHA matters, EEOC charges, and single plaintiff employment litigation.
Candidates must have strong legal writing skills, experience with discovery, motion practice, and drafting pleadings, motions, and other court filings.
Experience with trial preparation in both state and federal courts, and participation in settlement conferences and negotiations is preferred.
Active membership in good standing with the Michigan Bar is required; timely admission will be a condition of employment.
A J.D. from an ABA-approved law school and strong academic credentials are necessary.
Demonstrated client relationship and business development skills are sought.
The salary range for this position is $260,000-$310,000.
