Overview

  • Foley & Lardner LLP is hiring a 3rd-4th year associate (Class of 2022-2023) for its Labor & Employment Practice Group in Detroit.
  • Essential experience includes wage and hour class action litigation, union negotiations, general labor and employment advice and counseling, OSHA matters, EEOC charges, and single plaintiff employment litigation.
  • Candidates must have strong legal writing skills, experience with discovery, motion practice, and drafting pleadings, motions, and other court filings.
  • Experience with trial preparation in both state and federal courts, and participation in settlement conferences and negotiations is preferred.
  • Active membership in good standing with the Michigan Bar is required; timely admission will be a condition of employment.
  • A J.D. from an ABA-approved law school and strong academic credentials are necessary.
  • Demonstrated client relationship and business development skills are sought.
  • The salary range for this position is $260,000-$310,000.
