Seeking an Immigration Paralegal with a focus on employment-based business immigration.
Requires five or more years of professional experience in employment-based business immigration, preferably within a law firm.
Core responsibilities include preparing and filing various employment-based applications (H, L, E, O, P, TN, EB-1s, NIWs, and EB-2/EB-3 PERM labor certifications).
Assist with the coordination and preparation of complex cases, such as O-1 and EB-1 petitions, motions to reconsider, and responses to Requests for Evidence or Intent to Deny Notices.
Conduct audits of client documents, including I-9, H-2B, LCA, and PERM files.
Manage case intake, perform detailed data entry into case management systems, monitor deadlines, and participate in case strategy meetings.
Essential skills include strong written and verbal communication, research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with the capacity to work independently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and database software is required; experience with LawLogix and/or INSZoom is a plus.
An Associate’s degree or paralegal certificate is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Beneficial experience includes J/J-1 waivers, Schedule A, student issues, visitor visa matters, naturalization, or family immigration.
This is an in-office position requiring high productivity.
