Overview

This is a Labor & Employment Attorney position at Fox Rothschild's New York office.
The role primarily supports the firm's hospitality team, representing New York-based restaurants, boutique hotels, and entertainment venues.
Core responsibilities involve significant day-to-day employment counseling on wage and hour, discrimination, and general employment matters.
The ideal candidate will have 4 to 8 years of experience in labor and employment law.
A Juris Doctorate (JD) and an active license to practice law in the State of New York are required.
Essential qualifications include strong research, writing skills, a solid academic record, and experience handling first-chair litigation for discrimination and/or wage and hour claims.
Candidates must also have experience counseling on New York State and New York City employment laws.
Experience with labor relations in the hospitality industry and familiarity with the New York State Hospitality Wage Order are strongly preferred.
The estimated salary range for this New York-based position is $240,000 - $285,000.
