Overview

A license to practice law in the State of Kansas is strongly preferred, in addition to the required Missouri license.
The role involves general commercial litigation, specifically handling matters related to contracts, workplace policy and litigation, intellectual property disputes, commercial disputes, construction, real estate, insurance, food manufacturing, aviation, and surety.
Experience is required with demand letters, discovery, case development, real-time case strategy, taking and defending depositions (including expert depositions), and drafting and arguing motions.
Trial experience is a plus, but not required.
Prior experience at a large law firm is strongly preferred.
