Overview

This Assistant Managing Attorney position supports the firm's Dispute Resolution practice.
You will ensure strict compliance with procedural rules, court practices, and deadlines across federal, state, and alternative dispute forums nationwide.
Responsibilities include advising litigators on procedural strategy, court procedures, judicial preferences, and best practices to mitigate litigation risk.
This involves monitoring filing and calendaring obligations, and reviewing court submissions for compliance with local rules and standing orders.
You will conduct legal research on procedural and strategic issues.
The role requires strong experience leveraging litigation technology and court databases such as PACER, Bloomberg Law, Milana, and CourtAlert.
A Juris Doctor (JD) and active bar membership in good standing in New York or California are mandatory.
Candidates must have at least three years of experience as a litigator or in a supervisory role within a Managing Attorney’s or Clerk’s Office.
Extensive knowledge of federal and state civil procedure is essential.
Experience with courts in New York, California, or Washington, D.C. is preferred.
The compensation range for this role in New York and California is $225,000 to $250,000.
