Primary responsibilities involve researching and drafting motions and briefs, legal research and analysis, and case/client management.
The role contributes to briefing and legal strategy in both trial and appellate courts.
District court or appellate court clerkship experience is preferred.
Associates on the appellate team generally work on cases in a range of judicial and administrative venues beyond traditional appellate courts, assisting with dispositive motions and other key submissions in trial courts, advising on general legal strategy in pretrial and trial proceedings, and participating in the notice-and-comment process before regulatory agencies.
