This is a Mid-level Licensing Associate position within the Life Sciences group.
Requires 3-5 years of experience in intellectual property licensing, technology transfer, and other technology transactions.
Fluency in Mandarin is required; experience working in Asia is strongly preferred.
You will provide IP support for corporate transactions in life sciences, including intellectual property and technology transaction due diligence.
Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating a range of agreements: patent and trademark licenses, joint development, collaboration, and strategic alliance agreements.
You will also draft and negotiate technology licenses and services agreements (including software-as-a-service), and distribution agreements.
Experience performing intellectual property and technology transaction due diligence for corporate transactions and technology transfers is essential.
Candidates must have a track record of working effectively in teams and managing substantial transaction components independently.
Strong academic credentials and prior experience at a comparable law firm are required.
You must be admitted to a relevant bar or eligible to obtain admission promptly.
