Overview

This is a Mid-level Associate position within the Intellectual Property Transactions & Strategies group.
Candidates must have solid experience in technology and intellectual property licensing, and other technology transactions.
The role involves providing IP support, including intellectual property and technology due diligence, for M&A and other corporate transactions.
Required experience includes drafting and negotiating joint development, collaboration, and other strategic alliance agreements.
Candidates should also have experience drafting and negotiating technology and intellectual property licenses, services agreements (including software as a service), and distribution agreements (including OEM, VAR, and other reseller agreements).
Demonstrated experience with open source software license terms is strongly preferred.
Strong preference for experience addressing intellectual property issues presented by artificial intelligence technology and tools.
Required qualifications include outstanding academic credentials, comparable law firm experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Relevant bar admission, or eligibility to obtain admission promptly, is required.
